The company is developing a perfluorocarbon (PFC) therapeutic oxygen carrier and liquid ventilation product (Oxycyte) and has out-licensed an implantable glucose sensor. These products are based upon core technologies that include biomedical applications for PFCs as well as medical and industrial applications for biosensors.

The company believes Oxycyte has the potential for use in multiple indications. Currently, the company is focused primarily on traumatic brain injury, wound care, decompression sickness and cosmetic applications incorporating PFCs. Other applications may be considered as resources permit.
